Biocide products are applied in order to control organisms that are dangerous to the health of humans or animals or could damage natural or manufactured materials. Harmful organisms are for example insects, bacteria, fungi, rodents, shells, algae or viruses. EU-Regulation 528/2012, active since September 1, 2013, governs the market deployment and application of biocide products. It administers that biocide products belonging to the aforementioned product types have to be registered before they can be used. As a result, our customers may find that specific substances and products are no longer available for certain applications.
We are happy to inform our partners regarding which registration processes are relevant for them and which of the biocide products they use have not been registered, yet. Our experts also advise and support you in case product transitions are necessary.
