CG Chemikalien voluntarily submits to the assessment of external auditors who evaluate our overall conduct with chemicals and our high standards regarding all measures taken to protect the environment and the well-being of our staff and customers.
The SQAS system allows for an independent assessment on how safely and responsibly our company operates. It has been developed by the European Chemical Industry Council CEFIC and the European Association of Chemical Distributors FECC according to the guidelines of the Responsible Care Program and is based on objectivity, neutrality and transparency.
The inspection of our systems and processes is carried out with the help of the ESAD (European Single Assessment Document) questionnaire and goes well beyond the requirements of legal regulations. SQAS is no certification but a standardized assessment system and accordingly an objective description of state that extensively informs our suppliers about all our strengths and possible weaknesses. It serves as a confirmation that our distribution of chemicals is conducted in a safe, high-quality manner under consideration of the protection of staff, general public and the environment.
